Every month combines instruction, an original challenge and rehearsal toward collaborative performances. Selected artists arrive prepared for a Castle Chrysalix block while the open-mic host remains the co-promoter and never waits on sign-ups.

01The room does not match the work
You searched for an open mic, prepared your piece, and arrived to discover a completely different vibe. Castle blocks are planned with partner hosts so the ensemble knows the room before taking the stage.
02The right night never appears
The event is too late, across town or announced after your calendar is full. A recurring workshop and Castle Calendar create a dependable rhythm. When you cannot attend, create online with Canva, CapCut and the asynchronous curriculums, and stay connected to the ensemble.
03The page poet wants a stage
Your writing is ready, but breath, pacing, presence or the microphone still feel unfamiliar. Coaching and rehearsal help the poem become a performance without asking you to imitate someone else.
04The performance deserves a record
You should not have to hand your phone to a stranger or balance it against a glass. Castle Chrysalix performances are recorded so you can stay present and leave with documentation of the moment.

Make the change in yourself with metamorphosis. Creative writing, Echo inspirations, journaling and original verses, vibes and visuals.
Advocacy
Make the change in the world with advocacy. Identify your purposeful issue, learn to advocate, network and shape informed creative action.
Performance
Make your change in style with performance. Develop voice, presence, public speaking, recorded performance and stage styling.

Membership includes curriculum, workshops, challenges, community and ensemble opportunities. Paying for membership never means paying for a role.
